The Beatles are the world's most successful pop group and continue to be hugely popular. This course will explore the influence of the Beatles' reach into music, culture and society.

Course Description

You wil consider the Beatles in terms of place, culture and society, beginning with an analysis of the influence of Liverpool's history and culture on the Beatles, and correspondingly, the influence the Beatles have had on the city.

From there, the course will explore their far-reaching influence on global music and culture, highlighting their musical innovations and societal impact and their continued relevance in today's world.  Whether you're a long time fan or new to their work, this course will provide a deeper understanding of lasting legacy of The Beatles.
