This test will allow students who do not already hold a GCSE in Maths to be awarded a Level 2 Numeracy equivalency which can be used to replace the GCSE requirement for entry onto most health degrees. This standalone test allows you to study at home before choosing your exam date. The price includes the exam and two further re-sits if required.
Detailed Description
The Level 2 Numeracy equivalency test is for applicants to Edge Hill University health and social care programmes (excluding Medicine) who do not already hold a Level 2 or GCSE in Maths or a recognised equivalent. Other universities may accept the equivalency qualification, however, it is your responsibility to check with the individual institutions first.
After making payment, the Equivalency Tests Team will confirm your registration and you will receive a revision pack to study at home. When you’re ready, you can choose from a list of exam dates taking place on campus or at Holy Cross College in Bury, with a choice of three dates typically offered per month.
Please note, the Equivalency Tests Team work Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm. If you make payment outside these hours we will be in touch when we return to the office.
