Course Description

Across six practical sessions, you will explore flamenco movement, gestures, rhythms and palmas (clapping), as well as the use of the traditional flamenco fan and other flamenco objects. You will also discover the work of key flamenco artists and explore a range of performances.

Sessions combine practical dance activity with viewing and discussion, helping you to develop your understanding of flamenco as both an art form and a powerful form of cultural exchange.

All of our community CPD courses are aimed at adults and you must be over 18 to join.
