Creative Writing: Find your voice 2026

Join a six-week online introduction to creative writing, combining sessions delivered by experienced lecturers from Edge Hill University's Creative Writing programme and two masterclasses with award-winning writers.

Course Description

These workshops offer a unique opportunity to gain insight into creative processes, learn from established practitioners and develop your own writing through practical guidance and inspiration.

Across six weeks, you will be introduced to a wide range of writing forms, developing your understanding of the distinctive techniques and possibilities of each form.

The course will introduce you to:

·       Flash Fiction

·       Short Fiction

·       Script Writing

·       Screenwriting

·       Poetry

·       Genre Fiction

All of our community CPD courses are aimed at adults, and you must be over 18 to join.
