Join us in-person for a two-day practical exploration of the Arts for the Blues model.
This model has been developed by Edge Hill University and the University of Salford as an evidence-based psychotherapy model for depression.
The two day course will offer information about the phases of the model as well as its key ingredients and will prepare participants to become Arts for the Blues group facilitators.

Developed in collaboration between the University of Salford and Edge Hill University, the Arts for the Blues is an evidence-based creative psychotherapy model for depression.
Through this two-day in-person training, you will be introduced to the Arts for the Blues model including the model's four phases and eight ingredients.
You will learn about the theoretical framework and practical applications including group theory and group facilitation skills.
This course will begin your preparation to becoming a group facilitator for the Arts for the Blues model. For this, you will need to have counselling or psychotherapy qualifications, psychological therapy training, training in arts therapies or similar and ease in the use of creative methods for therapeutic purposes.
