Grassland Conservation Workshop, 14th-15th August 2017
The Grassland Conservation Workshop will take place on 14th and 15th August 2017 and hosted by Edge Hill University, Ormskirk, Lancashire.
A major challenge of applied ecological research is dissemination to conservation practitioners. In order to maximise the impact of research and to ensure current conservation issues are highlighted for potential research it is important for scientists and practitioners to work together.
The Grassland Conservation Workshop aims to provide a platform for the development of collaboration and knowledge exchange between scientists and practitioners.
The first day of the conference will feature oral presentations from academics, conservation practitioners and policy makers and a poster session sponsored by the George Stapledon Memorial Trust.
The second day of the workshop will be a series of parallel workshops and field visits dedicated to a range of grassland conservation management issues:
